Perlen, 23 May 2018 – Zeochem, CPH Group’s Chemistry Division, has taken over the sales activities for molecular sieves in China from Shanghai Yusheng Chemical Co. Ltd. retroactively as of March 1, 2018. Yusheng, based in Shanghai, is a long-standing representative of
Zeochem in China and has successfully established the local distribution of molecular sieves.

With the acquisition of Jiangsu ALSIO Technology Co. Ltd. in 2016, Zeochem established its own production and sales activities in China. "It is therefore a logical step to integrate the sales activities of molecular sieves of Yusheng into ALSIO," comments Alois Waldburg-Zeil, Head of the Chemistry Division, on the transaction. The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase conditions.

"We are pleased to further expand sales in China together with the new organization. The integration of Yusheng's sales activities further strengthens Zeochem's market position in China," says Peter Schildknecht, CEO of the CPH Group. At the end of 2017, Zeochem employed 137 people at the site in China.
