The CPH Group companies at the Perlen site are participating in a pilot project for weekly, preventive Covid-19 mass testing. With this pilot project, the Canton of Lucerne aims to gather the experience required for testing the employees at the companies located in the canton on a weekly basis.

Employing easy-to-use PCR saliva tests, the goal is to detect asymptomatic individuals infected with Covid-19 at an early stage and thus interrupt chains of infection.

"In recent months, we have already sporadically tested the employees at the Perlen site on our own initiative and at our own expense. We therefore welcome the initiative of the Canton of Lucerne. With regular tests, we can minimize the risks for the workforce and maintain operations," says Peter Schildknecht, CEO of the CPH Group.
