Coating plant in Brazil inaugurated

At the beginning of November, Perlen Packaging's new coating plant in Anápolis was inaugurated and put into operation with a ceremony.

The worldwide delivery delays presented the planners with major challenges during the construction of the coating plant in Anápolis in Brazil. In order to speed up implementation, the plant was not built and accepted at the manufacturer's site as is usually the case, but the functional tests were carried out directly at the site in Brazil.

In the summer of 2022, the containers arrived in Brazil from overseas, and in the following months the coating plant was built in several stages, the infrastructure for supplying the factory with electricity and liquefied gas was expanded, and the laboratory and warehouse were converted. After extensive testing, the plant was formally approved and externally audited in the fall. In early November, it was formally inaugurated in the presence of local authorities and management and board members of CPH Chemie + Papier Holding and Perlen Packaging.

Thanks to the exclusive cooperation with Cipatex, the Brazilian supplier of mono films, Perlen Packaging can offer a full range of mono to high barrier films for the rapidly growing Latin American market.
