Annual General Meeting approves all agenda items

For the first time since 2019, the Annual General Meeting of CPH was again able to take place with the physical presence of the shareholders. They approved all agenda items with a large majority.

The 50th Annual General Meeting of CPH Chemie + Papier Holding AG was held on March 17, 2022, at the Culture and Convention Center Lucerne. For the first time since the outbreak of the pandemic, shareholders were able to physically attend. They represented 73% of the voting shares.

“Nothing replaces personal exchange, and to resume and cultivate this with you gives us great pleasure,” commented Peter Schaub, Chairman of the Board of Directors. In a non-binding vote, 97% of shareholders indicated that they preferred an AGM with physical presence to a purely virtual meeting.

All agenda items were approved by an overwhelming majority and all members of the Board of Directors were confirmed in office. In accordance with the AGM’s resolution, the CPH Group will pay a dividend of CHF 1.30 per share for the 2021 financial year.
