Investor Day 2023: Special focus on sustainability

Around two dozen analysts and investors attended the CPH Group’s Investor Day at the Widder Hotel in Zurich on 26 September 2023. Peter Schildknecht, CEO of the CPH Group, updated the attendees on the business development and explained the status of the implementation of the long-term corporate strategy. This is based on expanding business outside the paper sector, internationalization and reducing dependence on the Swiss franc. “We are well on track in achieving the strategy’s objectives,” said Peter Schildknecht.

This year’s Investor Day focused on the sustainability strategy. Gerold Brütsch, CFO of the CPH Group, explained which goals and dimensions the further developed strategy comprises. The CPH Group is working to achieve net zero aims. To this end, a corresponding staged plan is being further developed, always while maintaining competitiveness. In addition, there is the continuous improvement process in innovation and quality management, regular employee surveys, but also a stable shareholder base.

At the same time, non-financial reporting will be further expanded. “In the medium term, we want to implement the EU sustainability guidelines (CSRD/ESRS),” said Gerold Brütsch.
