Successful closing completes CPH Group’s acquisition of Sorbead India and Swambe Chemicals
The CPH Group has concluded its acquisition of Indian-based Sorbead India and Swambe Chemicals, continuing its strategy of expanding its global market position in regions with high growth potential.
Perlen, 29 April 2024 – The acquisition announced on 23 January 2024 of Sorbead India and Swambe Chemicals by the Chemistry Division of the CPH Group was successfully completed on schedule today with the formal closing of the sale transaction. The companies will now be integrated into the Chemistry Division, and will trade in future as Sorbchem India Pvt. Ltd.
The acquisition gives the CPH Group its own presence in the Indian chemicals and pharmaceutical markets. It also enables the Chemistry Division to expand its product range: Sorbead India and Swambe Chemicals distribute molecular sieves and packaging materials and manufacture chromatography gels for use in the packaging and pharmaceutical sectors.
The purchase of Sorbead India and Swambe Chemicals marks a further consistent step in the CPH Group’s pursuit of its strategy of expanding its global market position in regions with high growth potential. The CPH Group now operates at 14 locations worldwide.
